Disease of the genitals or urinary tract can cause a variety of symptoms including problems passing urine (painful urination, discoloured urine, slow urination, frequent urination or incontinence), pelvic pain, urinary infections, testis swellings, problems with sexual function such as weak erections or premature ejaculation. If you have blood in your urine this requires urgent investigation in order to rule out a dangerous cause. A raised PSA can be identified in the absence of symptoms and requires careful assessment to exclude prostate cancer. I am expert in investigating the cause of these problems so that they can be properly dealt with once the cause is known. I also have a particular interest in investigating, diagnosing and treating patients with prostate cancer.
